Malware Reverse Engineer

Job Description

The Malware Reverse Engineer will analyze advanced malware, uncover exploit chains, and develop detection mechanisms for zero-day threats. This role is critical to supporting Silent Breach Labs and our global threat intelligence operations by identifying emerging attack techniques before they’re weaponized.

Key Duties

• Reverse-engineer malware samples and exploit payloads using industry tools.
• Identify persistence, obfuscation, and C2 mechanisms within binaries.
• Develop and test countermeasures against active threats.
• Collaborate with the Threat Intelligence and Red Team divisions.
• Produce detailed technical reports and threat advisories for clients.

Qualifications

• Expertise with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra, or Radare2.
• Strong understanding of Windows, Linux, or mobile malware internals.
• Experience with exploit development or vulnerability research.
• Familiarity with assembly and low-level system programming.
• Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
